Our story

Lucia Italian Restaurant opened the doors on June 1993.
An Italian couple Lucia Tacchi and Ennio Luison supported by their friend Gabriella Stedile decided to expand their horizon and to dive into a new adventure.

 

Ennio Luison , the chef, brought into the business his passion for cooking, developed in his mother’s kitchen from early childhood on, combined with a great knowledge of Italian foods, acquired working as a sale representive in the Italian Food industry. He refined his skills and deepened his passion working part-time in a restaurant in Italy.

 

 

Lucia Tacchi is the heart and face of the business with her bright red hair and charming personality : warm and sophisticated at the same time. She is also an accomplished business woman, graduated from Johnson and Wales University,  that carefully administers the business's many facets.

 

 

Gabriella Stedile  loves to work behind the scenes. She cooperates with Ennio in creating new dishes and managing the kitchen and in a small part collaborates with Lucia in running the business. She is a certified aiuto cuoco (sous-chef) in Italy and also has an Associate degree in Business earned from  a local College.
